His beloved daughter Lily, it appeared, was slaughtered by Sphinx in a cruel ancient ritual.

TO THE MOUNTAINS AND THE FALL!

With his rivals far ahead of him, Jack must now get to one of the five iron mountains - two of which have never been found - and perform a mysterious feat known only as 'The Fall'.

Although what is this object on the moon that is connected to it?

A NEW PLAYER ARRIVES

Amid all this, Jack will discover that a new player has entered the race, a general so feared by the four legendary kingdoms they had him locked away in their deepest dungeon.

Only now this general has escaped and he has a horrifying plan of his own...

Critic Reviews

'The Jack West Jnr books are pure escapism. An action hero worthy of Lee Child leads a team to save the world against elaborate threats that owe as much to the camp machinations of Bond supervillains as the myth-tinged conspiracy fiction of Dan Brown. Reilly churns out big, glossy page-turners with imagination and skill.' Sydney Morning Herald

'Thrilling ride...it's excitement and entertainment that is his stock in trade, and it's here in spades.' Herald Sun

what the hell happened ?

once upon a time Matthew Reilly wrote a credible fun adventure story . I was a huge fan. Now JWJr is involved in the most ridiculous stories ever written. His books stated off well and have become progressively so far away from the original book. If he wants to write science fiction pick another character. Unbelievably disappointing and unimaginative. You've ruined a great character Mathew Reilly

3rd and final book for me

I know there is one more book to come in the series, but I’m just too frustrated to go on. It just gets too much when every situation Jack and his team find themselves in is an impossible one that is always immediately made more impossible. I started with the 4 legendary Kingdoms which was stressful enough. There is such a thing as over Catastrophizing and drawing out the story too long that people give up on finding out what the conclusion is.

Garbage

This is the most purile unadulterated garbage I have ever tried to read/listen to. I can not go on listeneing to this. Reilly used to be a good read, but in my opinion he's lost it. What an absolute waste of a good credit. Somehow this post did not pick up my Name. I have not chosen to be anonymous. My name is Rick Jenkins and I stand by what i have said not hiding behind anonymity!
I have returned the book for a credit and received it. Thank you Audible.

Another Magnificent story...

It kept the same fast-paced intense storyline as the previous books, which is what I love about this series. I find it very difficult to have to stop listening because I either need to sleep, or I have other things to do. I really am just obsessed with reading Matthew Reilly's novels....he is one of the best ever authors!

Yet Another Gem

Mr Reilly does it again! Unbelievable in the best ways 👏. Nail biting, emotional, sensational!
I'm disappointed to have read negative reviews about any book in this series thus far. I can only assume you have failed to grasp the true brilliance of Mr Reilly's writing.
