Publisher's Summary

Book 6 in Anthony J Melchiorri’s The Tide series

In Morocco, tourists and merchants once packed the winding alleys and expansive markets of Tangier. Now there are only Skulls. Captain Dominic Holland and the Hunters pursue the mysterious organization responsible for the Oni Agent straight into the ravaged city. But something more frightening than anything they’ve encountered awaits.

Across the Atlantic, Colonel Jacob Shepherd is tasked with delivering a key enemy scientist to the United States Government. But no journey at the end of the world is without disaster. Faced with a mission derailed by catastrophe, Shepherd must make an impossible choice to save his country—and the world.

Another home run by AJM

Anthony continues to bring the skulls to life. Its amazing how you can feel for a character in a book but in this series Tony makes them feel like family and friends. You get a little covert op, zombie, bio weapon and military action in this book and series. This is another easy 5 star book! The narrator brings a new dimension to this story, highly recommend any of his books.

very good

very nice. far fetch epidemiology but it is sci-fi so...
fun to listen to and gradually makes things for the hunters harder and harder. every thing is bleak but the somehow keep getting it done (at a considerable cost).

Holy cow!

Just when I think this series must be wrapping itself up it all explodes. So much happens in this book I’m still amazed. The things they learned, the things they found, the new characters.... whew! With all the constant action and danger surrounding it all this is an impossible to put down book! I cannot wait for the next one.

Love the series but.......

I love the series but way to much cursing for me. I do not think its suitable for teens because o the file language. I the GD word is way over used in the book, I'm not a prude but .......I will finish the series. Just my opinion.

Couldn't finish it. Story ok , narration very bad.

Even though the story was nearly identical to the Arisen series , in some places nearly word for word, there was enough difference to where I could imagine that I wasn't hearing the same story again. No what killed it for me to where I can't even finish the series is the narrator. The man reading this book is not just plain ,flat, unenthusiastic , and just borderline monotone. He sounds like a 12 year old boy reading from a novel that he doesn't understand. Ok if you have tough guy marines who have been to hell and back , they don't sound like some kid complaining to his mom that his cookies are cold. And I'm not saying anything bad about the narrator , I'm sure there are many books that he could be very successful with , its just that this was not a good match for him. In my opinion he is well spoken and has a wonderful voice, A very good narrator , but the man (or woman) telling the story in my opinion has to match. If RC Bray had been the one to narrorate this book I would have been hooked to the end. And look I went all the way to book 6 trying. But when I slept through more than I listened , it became obvious that the story was lost and I would rather waist a credit than to listen to one more chapter.
