There's often a fine line between a criminal and a saint.
Constable Jackson Forge intends to make the world safer, or at least the streets of Victorian London. But that's Kit Turner's domain, a swindler who runs a crew that acquires money the old-fashioned way - conning the rich to give to the poor.
When a local cab driver goes missing, Jackson is tasked with finding the man, and the only way to do that is by enlisting Kit's help. If Jackson doesn't find the cabby, he'll be fired. If Kit doesn't help Jackson, he’ll arrest her for thievery. Yet neither of them realize those are the least of their problems.

Buckle up & hold tight! You're in for a wild ride!
This was so much fun to listen to! It's fast paced, exciting, suspenseful and romantic! Michelle Griep never disappoints...she is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors! I guarantee you'll love this one!
Wow! This was an action-packed, fun-filled ride through the underbelly of Victorian London. A great book to listen to as well. I loved all of the accents and was caught up in the story so much, I finished the book without stopping!
Poor Jackson got a demerit moments after putting on his "blue, woolen dream.)
I loved Kit. The way she cared for people and her struggle to help them, the only way she knew how.
I will definitely be listening to this story again and again.
*Edit* I started listening again and forgot to mention that I LOVE all the old word usage.
I've begun saying "I don't give a fig-knackity about things."
