Well written story that keeps you engaged and the Narrator does a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life.

I enjoy Jeaniene Frost books, however I am struggling with this series as I find the narrator’s overenthusiasm distracting. I even slowed the reading pace at one point as I just couldn’t take in the words being almost shouted at me.

I think I’m just giving this series 3 stars because the others are overly amazing. I like Brutus he’s bloody awesome. I also don’t mind out mmc and fmc but I miss the other main characters of the other series.
