Despite a slightly slow start, I soon became engrossed and could not stop listening - yet feeling that, on finishing the book, I wanted more - not because the end was unclear but because reading this book was so enjoyable with that sense of involvement.
Jane Harper has the amazing ability to make the reader part of the events. Her characters can be seen and heard by the reader; their feelings can be felt and their fears, curiosity, frustration and determination to discover more - are shared.
Highly enjoyable. Looking forward to Jane's next book.
