Interesting

This was an interesting take on spiritual warfare. I don't think I agreed with some of it if compared to Scripture, but I listened to it as fiction and could overlook that. The story was good. the characters realistic. I was very glad I already owned the sequel, A Spark in Darkness, since it continues the story. These two books would be best listened to in order.

Great Read

The Still Small Voice was a good read by Lorana Hoopes. Jordan’s life was thrown upside down when she ended up pregnant in college. She gave her son up for adoption and sought to find a meaning for her life. She gave her life to God and started receiving visions and words to tell others. She must also help guide people to God. Kat is a Christian who has felt a pull away rom God for years. It was made worse when her best friend died and her life is thrown into turmoil. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by Lorana Hoopes.

Not the Best Lorana Hoopes Produces

I did not like this story. It really started to get weird. Seeing white lights and angels actually revealing themselves as angels. This sets up a dangerous precedence and should be delegated to Christian Fantasy like the Left Behind series. A series where what a glimpse of the future could be. I came into this series with the notion that this was a Christian Romance. It is definitely not that. I was actually offended at some parts of this story, because some of the things are definitely not biblical. This story was a complete disappointment because I normally love Lorana Hoopes story. This one is a failure in my eyes.

Still small voice

Wow! What a great book. It's not Lorana's usual type of book, I think it's even better than her normal books. This could be life changing for so many. I think one may get more or of it the 2nd or 3rd time around.

Fantastic!!

I was given a copy of this audio book for an honest review. Wow! I absolutely LOVED this book. This is not your typical Lorana Hoopes christian romance story. It is very well written & completely mesmerizing. It makes you think about how you would respond to that “still small voice”. Would you listen or would you ignore it?

If we only listen to our promptings

this reminds me very much of when I was in my teens and lost my father at 15. How we blame God for taking the ones we love and the ones we care about and how we need to refocus and bring her thoughts and lives back to Him and start praying again.

A very different christian story

I enjoyed this audible presentation very much. The story, itself, is good & very different. I believe God uses His Word, the Bible, to speak to us & tell us what we should do. I don't agree that He sends a person to inform the 2nd person about what God wants them to do. Also this is a cliff-hanger book that ends abruptly. Wonder when the conclusion book will happen. I received this audible book free from the author. This is my voluntary opinion.

Listening to God's message

Cat is a control freak in her life. not that she lost faith in God, she just didnt make time for going to church, God, and prayer. When her best friend, Stella, died, She couldn't understand why God takes the good people. Lorana Hoopes writes about being quiet and listen to God's message ,being used for a purpose and direction in life, and not to ignore the Still Small Voice . Her narration is flawless giving each character their own voice and personality. I was gifted the audio book and offer my honest review.
