Joe should have subtly let the villain know he was not going to have any dealings with him any more. Also fantasy/religion shouldn’t be brought into crime novels. Hopefully it won’t occur in the sequel which I hope to read. What is the name of the sequel?

if you like John Grisham, you'll love this book! I came across it unexpectedly but I loved it and found it gripping! I'll definitely be reading or listening to other books in this series as well as the author's other legal thriller series!

the only criticism I have is the Australian accent sounded more British than Australian... and a bad one. it did grate on me.
