The last third was ok, I'm very glad it was free tho. I will not be bothering with the rest of the series.

the first half was like somebody put immature young men banter and cliche characters into chat gpt.

it's ok. it just didn't give me enough to be curious about what happens next. there are just too many unknowns, and the pace is too slow for me. it's worth a try, the book certainly isn't a disaster, it just didnt hold my attention or capture my imagination.

this was a free book, I didn't even look or listen to it before adding it to my library. I was waiting for pay day to buy more credits and just grabbed a few of the free options to keep me going. WELL was I surprised! this was fantastic and i instantly purchased the other books in the series when i finished it.
it was enjoyable, fast paced, and gripping
