Good story but the reading was terrible I won’t risk to read another book from this author

I couldn't get past the first thirty minutes of this book and shall borrow a hard copy from the library. The narrator read it as if she was reading a comedy when, in fact, I'm sure it is a very tragic story. She was the wrong selection altogether and I just couldn't stick with it any longer.
