Publisher's Summary

"Hello, Praea."

There's only one being on Earth who calls Sloan Jordan by that name - her biological mother, a demon named Kasyade. So why did she answer Sloan’s best friend’s phone? When Sloan reaches Adrianne Marx’s apartment to investigate, all she finds is a half-written list of things to do before Sloan’s wedding:

  1. Order booze for the reception.
  2. Send the final guest count to the caterer.
  3. Register for gifts.
  4. Don’t forget to -

That's where the to-do list ended. Mid-sentence with a scrawled line like Adrianne had been dragged away from the task. If Kasyade was involved in the abduction, Adrianne probably had been.

The reason? Ransom.

The price? Sloan’s unborn daughter, the most powerful angel in all of history.

But hell can’t rival the fury of an angry mother protecting her child, and until the baby is born, her incredible power is Sloan’s to wield. Now the prey becomes the predator as Sloan seeks to put an end to Kasyade forever.

Great Series! Great Narration

This was a great series, it seems that it moving into Nathan's story now and I am glad for that. This book was a good ending to the series. I think, since I have not started the Nathan's book yet. I will very soon.

I can totally recommend this series to paranormal fans. I really enjoyed it.

The narration was amazing! I love Brittany Pressley! She is an awesome narrator. The men sound like men and everyone gets their own distinct voice. She is amazing!

Another entertaining installment

This book was a great addition to the series. I thought it was the last one, but now I’m not sure. I see that there is a 6th book from Nathan’s POV but not sure if that continues the story or rehashes what happened in this one. Anyway, this book does finish the story arc and is definitely meant for readers who have read the first four in the series. Once again, very nicely narrated by Brittany Pressley.

Another great one!

I have listened to the series so far and keep wanting more. The characters are relatable and being a resident of NC very cool to hear about local places in the book.

what a depressing ending(spoiler alert)

after 6 books in the series. Sloan doesn't get a happy ending? Warren is the angel of death, he can't be with Sloan. Sloan had an emergency C-section and hysterectomy. so no more kids. she's living with her dad with a baby and it ended so abruptly.it was wanting. Who was her real father? is she suppose to pick up with Nathan now? what is happening with claybourne? why did she have to sacrifice so much, lose so much? I'm really disappointed.

a sacrifice of love

Wow just wow!!! The gang is looking for Adrianne - I missed her in this book. Love Nathan but am team Warren to be with Sloan. They are the cutest couple and remind me of Piper and Leo from Charmed. Romance, suspense and lots of action. Wish the ending had been different and hoping it isn't set in stone. If you have read 1-4 this is a must read!!!! Narrator does a good job of switching between characters.

Awesome Book

Elicia Hyder is an amazing storyteller. Fantastic continuation in the Soul Summoner series. And Brittany Pressley did a wonderful job of bringing it to life through her narration.

Wonderful Read!

The storyline keeps getting better and better! The narrator is quirky and fun to listen to. The characters are so endearing and interesting! My heart broke a little at the end, I hope this isn’t the last in the series!

Disappointing ending but otherwise great

In the last book (I am assuming it’s the last) the story continues to keep you hooked and turning the pages to see what happens next. I loved the book all but the ending. Not only does it end with the main characters having to be separated for an eternity it gives you no clue if anything ever becomes between Sloan and Nathan. Very disappointing ending for me.
