I love these books so much. Well written and performed!!! Richelle Mead does an amazing job at fleshing out these characters, and also updating us on the lives of all those from Vampire Academy.

The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is because I although I absolutely loved it In my opinion Vampire academy was so much better. I really enjoyed the story however I thought it was going to be more like a "What are we doing next/now" so I guess I expected to hear a story if Lissa and her life as queen and Rose as her Damphir.
However I enjoyed the story of Sydney n friends.
For me its hard to find both great books like this and a narrator who does it justice, if I don't like the way its read no matter how great the book I can't listen so this was great with narrator's that are easy to listen to and by the end of book 1 I really felt it was Sydney's voice I was hearing.
If you enjoy this type of book and have or haven't read Vampire academy then I definitely recommend this series.
