About this listen

An international Amazon best-selling title. Includes all three novels in the Riven Wyrde Saga.

They thought the fae were a myth.... They were wrong.

As the son of a mere merchant, Klöss wants nothing more than to pass his trials and join the ranks of the Bjornmen raiders, breaking free of his father’s ambitions and following in the footsteps of his forebears. Times are changing in the Barren Isles. The centuries-old traditions of coastal plunder are making way for outright conquest, and the threat of war is looming.

Found abandoned in the forests of Anlan, Devin wants nothing more than a simple life. But fate, it seems, has other plans. As his sleepy village transforms in the face of foreign invaders, rumors tell of creatures seen in the moonlight, shadowy figures with eyes of amber flame. The fae are returning to the world of Haven, and vengeance is within their grasp.

As the first battles rage between the Anlish and the Bjornmen invaders, only one man knows the true threat facing Haven. But can he convince anyone before it is too late?

More than 100,000 copies downloaded worldwide from this epic fantasy series, perfect for fans of Patrick Rothfuss, Feist, Peter V. Brett, and Brandon Sanderson.

This book was awesome. At the end, it didn't automatically go to the review option on Audible. I had to manually locate it to write this. Anyway, it was a gripping fantasy and I loved it. Completely binged it. Thank goodness someone recommended it to me because it doesn't seem to have that many reviews - maybe due to the aforementioned glitch

The narrator is absolutely amazing and did a brilliant job of bringing the characters to life. Great story, dragged a little at times but overall, engaging.

Very enjoyable

I did enjoy this series and the narration is superb throughout. I did find it difficult to keep track of the various threads and storylines which were woven throughout but maybe that was just me. Definately value for money and worth a listen.

brilliantly narrated

A good story with interesting characters and plot, and good narration. Wish the author did more research on medieval arms and armour and not go with all the tropes (slow and heavy swords, cutting through plate armour, etc)

Quite enjoyable

alongside Hunger of the Gods series and Shadow of a Dark Queen series this sits

Caught me up and I wanted to always keep listening for that just a bit longer.

loved it

Enters as one of the top 5 books I've read

A fairy tale with a bleak reality. This is not a happy story. Life is never really easy, there isn't always a happy ending. Or is there?

epic

One of the best books I have ever heard. The narration is masterful, characters clear, distinct and unique. The story lures you in slowly and before you are aware you can't stop listening. Leaves me wanting more.

I loved this story. Absolutely epic. Would love to see it made into a movie or series. The characters were amazing but most of all I loved the narration. It enabled each character to come alive in my imagination. 10/10

Fantastic story. Fantastic characters.
