fluffy romance

I really enjoyed this shortish romance. There is no violence. There are no references to Christian living. But i enjoyed The Fall Of Lord Dryson so wished to read book 2 in the series. I'm now looking forward to seeing what happens to Harriot in book 3.

I can't remember laughing so much

Not a comedy. Just very funny scenes. LOVED the book. I will read any other books available now or in the future. Great writing and narration. I always like to walk away from anything I spend so much time for as a learning experience. The heroine's personality is wonderful and someone I would love to be like. Lovely story. ❤️

The Sweetest & Most Beautiful Love Story

This has to be one of the sweetest love stories ever told. I loved every moment of this beautiful and classic romance. The author and narrator deserve an award for this production. You’ll leave the book a “hopeful” romantic. 💕💕

Some nice twists

WHAT IT'S ABOUT
When Miss Coralynn Notley’s father barters her off to the first titled gentleman to come along, she realizes she must flee her home or be forced to wed a despicable man. Driven by desperation, she applies for the position of housekeeper at Tanglewood Manor, the home of the handsome Mr. Jonathan Ludlow.

MY TAKE
Once again, Helen Taylor did a fabulous job narrating this story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It did stretch things a bit that Ludlow was willing to hire a woman who admitted to having no experience at housekeeping and then proved that she didn't, but I was still able to suspend my disbelief enough to enjoy the story. And I loved the characters.

Some nice twists as well, which is also good.

The Rise of Miss Notley

I liked the story line and the wittiness of the characters. I would read it again.

Never Give Up, Despite the Obstacles!

Completely delightful story!
I loved Cora's strong will to escape her parents. I loved her attempts at becoming a housekeeper. Mostly, I loved her heart. She wanted to know why people did the things they did. She wanted Tanglewood to have a heart and not feel empty.
I really liked Mr. Ludlow. He was a bit of a grump at first but he had his reasons. I also liked how Cora was able to get him to see things differently.
I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I'm sure it will be just as much fun as this has been.
