Story
When the vampire stalking me sent me a letter, I was prepared for my new life with the man I love to get thrown into chaos. But as the days stretch on and nothing happens, I become determined not to allow that monster to rule my life and decide that Marcus and I will move on. We can’t always allow the past to haunt us. If that includes pestering Marcus and harassing my fellow detectives, they’d better learn to love it because I’m not going anywhere, even if they like to remind me I’m the only human working in a department filled with vampires.

Story
It's been a long 17 years but Herschel Wood, Jr., is finally a free man and he's looking forward to reconnecting with his old cellmate, Bishop Stockley, who promised him a place to stay and some help getting back on his feet. Trent Armstrong has never been considered a catch. He's a 29-year-old laborer, an ex-con, and not the easiest person to get along with. He's used to being the one people cast to the side when they're done with him. Everyone he's ever cared about has walked out of his life without a backward glance, so he's used to the loneliness.

Story
Julian was the boy next door. My brother's best friend, he fit with my family in ways I never could. While he and Rhett went on to play house, I left the only life I knew, desperate for a fresh start. Until everything changed. Heartache came along, and the aftermath of my brother's death was here to stay. I was now face to face with Julian more than I ever wanted to be. Being around him brought up all my insecurities, forced me to deal with hard truths, and conjured up feelings I had no business entertaining. He wasn't the man I thought I knew.

Story
Now that Leland’s decided to give up his life as a hitman and take a walk on the mild side, we’ve been enjoying a simple life of taking down bad guys the legal way. I didn’t know he would be just as reckless as a PI, but it’s not my fault if I happen to enjoy helping him hunt down the occasional criminal. If only I could keep the house from being overrun by Leland’s gun shrine - or stop him from making our cases “more exciting” by terrorizing people into confessing. Overall, life seems perfect, right? Wrong.

Getting into the vampire-only detective unit was the easy part. What’s going to be more difficult is dealing with my new partner - an ancient vampire who keeps threatening to eat me. The unit has never had a human in it. Marcus - or, as I like to call him: Fangy McFangface - would really prefer to keep it that way. He’s grumpy, short-tempered, and broody, but I have a way with words, and I know he’s starting to like me, even if he swears he’s not.

Being a hit man has its perks, but I never thought getting an accidental mooning by an attractive PI while he’s caught on a fence would be one of them. While it’s not exactly love at first sight, he’s captured my interest and won’t let go. Suddenly, I find myself caught in a game of cat and mouse, determined to attract the attention of Jackson, the PI who should be my enemy. He pretends like he’s not flattered by my flowers and the mentions of my totally-not-fictitious blow-up doll, Randy (or was it Dandy?), but I know better.

Publisher's Summary
For the first time, enjoy the whole Riley Brothers series in one collection. If you’ve never met the Riley Brothers, it's time to dive in!
The six novels included in this collection are: Buzz, Clang, Swish, Crunch, Slam, and Grind. There are two bonus short stories ("Boo" and "Jingle") that catch up with the guys four years later.
Buzz
He’s nothing like me...and I’m falling head over heels.
Former hockey player Cameron Riley is back in his hometown and working as a beekeeper. He’s not supposed to get excited...which is impossible around his new boss’s art curator nephew, Noah. But the last thing Cam wants is to scare him off with his semi-famous status or the heart condition that ended that career and his last relationship.
When the past catches up with him, can he make the right choice? And will Noah forgive him for it, and trust in their future together?
Clang
You'll never be alone again.
When blacksmith Jackson Riley asks his friend Chase for help with his dating profile, his friendship stirs into more. Jackson wants a family tattoo, which Chase's skilled hands can deliver. But when Chase asks him to forge a sword, Jackson worries: What could he need protection from?
Swish
I wouldn’t be caught dead kissing you.
Bank teller Thomas Riley has depths he’s never shared...including the fact that his hunky ex, Alex, wants to see him again. Just three little problems: they broke up on bad terms, Thomas isn’t out to his brothers, and Alex nearly screwed up both of his brothers’ lives very recently.
Can reigniting an old flame ever work?
Crunch
I listened to you, years too late.
Tattoo artist Floyd Turner's faith in justice was destroyed as a rookie cop. After a rough few years, he now runs a tattoo shop downtown. His high school reunion is coming up, and he's dateless, aching for something more. His family is chasing him for a debt long since paid. And then his former patrol partner walks in.
Slam
I don’t want to be the poster boy.
Hockey player Kevin Shaw, fresh out of university with a year to prove himself, doesn’t need any distractions...like coming out. But he can't say no when he's asked to train with a gorgeous friend of a friend.
Life would be simpler if he could just train hard, get his big break, and squash the inconvenient torch he's carrying for Matty.
Grind
"Strictly business" is hard around you.
James is in trouble. His family turned their back on him after he transitioned, and he’s paying the price of starting his new life alone. Buried in debt, he starts a business with hunky carpenter Ryan and hopes that they succeed.
The one thing he can't afford is a distraction. But what if Ryan is the only one to see past it all and love him inside and out?
Enjoy these two short stories set in the Riley Brothers’ world, four years later!
“Boo”
Catch up on Cam and Noah’s life as they celebrate their first Halloween with their twin toddlers, Charlotte and Harper.
When Noah calls dibs on the queen bee costume, and Cam says he’ll be his honey, what exactly do they mean?
“Boo” is currently available only in this collection.
“Jingle”
The whole crowd is here for Christmas lunch, but who will ‘fess up to hiring a Santa stripper to crash the party?
“Jingle” is exclusive to this collection and has never been made available anywhere before.
Each book can be listened to on its own and promises a happily-ever-after ending, but you’ll enjoy them more as part of the whole series. A low-angst series filled with brotherly banter and small-town smiles. Buy and enjoy!

Delightful , Sweet and Heartwarming
Reviewed: from 12-05-19 through 12-16-19 I have read lots of good things about this book series. Have been in my TBL (to be listen) list for a while . When I saw, E. Davies released ALL 6 The Riley Brothers Collection books plus two novellas in one single Collection, that's 38 hours and 22 minutes for just 1 audio credit ; it would be absurd and criminal 😏😜😁 on my part , no taking advantage of this amazing and fantastic opportunity . Michael Pauley narration was awesome. He flesh out and brought the characters and situations to life. His performance was enthusiastic, personable and believable. He sounded , he was having a great time. The Riley Brothers Collection is a true series, one continuous timeline, that follows the three Riley brothers, and their best friends find love and their HEA. All stories are romantic , charming and light-hearted. Low on angst and very little drama; high on, explicit hot AF sexy scenes and so much sweetness to put anyone in a diabetic coma. All main and secondary characters are likeable and relatable. I loved the world building and the many layers E. Davies created for his wonderful Riley Brothers. Book 1 ~ Buzz ~ Chapters 1 through 40 : Noah and Cam Book 2 ~ Clang ~ Chapters 41 through 78 : Jackson and Chase Book 3 ~ Swish ~ Chapters 79 through 115 : Thomas and Alex Book 4 ~ Crunch ~ Chapters - 116 through 149 : Floyd and Grayson Book 5 ~ Slam ~ Chapters - 150 through 182 : Kevin and Marty Book 6 ~ Grind ~ Chapters - 183 through 215 : James and Ryan Novellas ~ Boo ~ Chapters 216 through 218 and Jingle Chapters 219 through 221 . I recommend this audiobook to anyone who enjoy Hallmark TV channel and want romance in their life.

Spectacular Collection
All of the Riley Brothers in one collection! Love each and every story and seeing each brother get their own HEA. This spectacular collection also has a couple of extras you don't get in the individual books. I love that each story is low angst and keeps you hooked from beginning to end as you see each couple fall in love and get their HEA, Catching up with them in the extras is a spectacular bonus. The narrator is incredible and truly engages you in the stories and all of the character's lives. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

Taking this epic audiobook series slowly
Note: Because this audiobook covers the whole series AND a couple of novellas, I've decided to go ahead and post a review for the first book. I'll edit my review and add on as I finish each following book. The rating may change accordingly. Buzz (book one) The series starter introduces readers to the eponymous Riley brothers, but the main focus is on the middle brother, twenty-three-year-old Cameron. He's forced to retire from minor league hockey due to a heart condition and Cam returns to their hometown. He meets Noah Clark, an art curator who helps out his beekeeping uncle--the same uncle whom Cam ends up working for. The two connect but Cam is keeping things from Noah, and by the time they finally come out, will Cam be able to make up for his decision to not be fully honest or could the buzz they feel end up being a bust instead? This was an okay start. Cam and Noah obviously had a connection, and that's a necessary thing for me when it comes to the romance genre. Where I had issues, though, is the insertion of non-main characters with points of view (POVs). I'm not a huge fan of this method of storytelling unless they're able to bring some sort of perspective that we aren't already getting from the main characters. Then there's the improbability of Noah not knowing that Cam is a hockey player. It's a small town that happens to be their hometown. Umm, people talk; people know each other; people ask questions! I also wasn't thrilled about not having any resolution to Cam's health issues. Maybe it's discussed in book two, but it's frustrating, folks. So, Buzz gets an average of three stars: two stars for the story and four for the narration.

Didn’t like book 2
I hate the fact Chase basically cheated on Jackson . Jackson just excepts it. He hooks up and get a call from Jackson likes it no big that he just hooked up. Than the next night sleeps with Jackson. Absolutely dislike Chase . It turn me off from the rest of the book. I skip head to the next book. I wish the part was not part of the book.

Fun romance
I devoured this series originally in print. It's as compelling in audio. The narration is good. The stories are great contemporary romance. Each book follows a new couple with just the right amount of updating on the prior couples in the series. My only complaint is the inclusion of prologues to each book which are just a sex scene from the middle of the story, that didn't work for me, but just about everything else did. The narration fits the characters. I enjoyed the fact that it's the entire series in one spot for hours of entertaining listening light romance with just enough serious themes to provide tension.

A wonderful collection!
This series is the one I always suggest to anyone who wants to know where to start reading Ed Davies books, and this boxset is just perfect! This series is made of 6 different full-length books, about brothers and close-knit friends. It’s low angst and with some very sweet moments, but it also deals with deeper themes like family’s rejection, trans characters and health issues… all with a hopeful look to it and the never missing HEA. What to say about Michael Pauley’s narration is that it’s amazing as always!

I loved this series!!!
All of these sexy stories were very entertaining and thoughtfully written, I listened to the entire series while I was at work and really got into the world the author created. I am a sap for gay romance stories and this series rates very high on my list. I was glad to see the author including the trans character (James) into the storyline as well. Great narration!

Loved the series...
I loved the series so much- and loved how the stories were interconnected. My only complaint is that I wish it didn’t take so long into the books for the actual “stories” to get going with each couple- I felt deflated once the couples got together only for the stories to end and you are left wanting to know what happens to them next.

Good stories. Good narration.
Each book in this collection tells the story of how a couple begins a relationship. A new story grows out of the previous one, and the reader continues to get insight into the previous character's lives. Each couple has a different challenge in building their relationship, and I really appreciated how E. Davies gave insight into the challenges that different couples face in building a life together. I learned quite a bit from this audiobook and I enjoyed each story. Great read if you need a stack of warm fuzziest!

as great as the ebook-series
The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me. The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Michael Dean is one of the 8 narrators (so far), I can listen without break and have no problems to follow. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review. PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!! To my ratings: 5* - very very good it's like an A+ 4* - very good and will be often re-listening it's like an A 3* - it's more then a one-time-listening. it's like a B

Must listen to
I’m almost done with this audiobook but I leave my reviews of the 4 first here and come back to add my reviews for the other, because I have to recommend this series to all lovers of mm romance, it’s so good. The author has created a great world of love and respect but also challenges. 1. BUZZ This was sweet and enjoyable, I love the siblings connection and I think this is a good start to a series that I think will move me very much. No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings Lots of good dialogues The characters is developed in to realistic personalities that has me sympathetic to their challenges Good storyline that progresses nicely to a happy ending 5 stars. 2. CLANG I love this story and all the feelings in it. The author has created a world with some great characters and connections to each other. The second brother falls in love, Jackson and Chase’s story is also a little raw and emotional No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings Good dialogues Steamy love scenes and a sizzling connection between the two men This series is in my opinion worth reading/listening to more then one time. 5 stars overall. 3. SWISH Thomas is finally finding his happy ending and with someone I didn’t expect. Alex and Thomas is rekindling their friendship and more..... No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings Good chemistry between Thomas and Alex Sweet love scenes The storyline is good and progresses nicely to a happy ending I still love the family connection and the author has managed to build a nice little world. 4.5 stars. 4. CRUNCH Floyd and Chase’s story was good but my heart bleed for how Floyd is treated by his own parents. No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings Good dialogues Sweet love developing between the two characters and the connection is clear from the beginning. The storyline is good and progresses nicely to a happy ending. Meeting the characters from the previous books in this series was sweet. SLAM Another good story about love and family No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings Good storyline that progresses nicely to a happy ending Familiar characters that are developed in to realistic personalities Sweet love story. 5 stars GRIND I liked this story very much and I felt like James was so judged and not accepted by some people I wanted to cry for him. Ryan accept him as he is and l love his quiet approach to what his wondering about. No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings Lots of good dialogues Well described characters that’s developed in to realistic personalities The storyline is good and progresses to a natural ending. 5 stars BOO AND JINGLE Both this novellas is short and very sweet. You get a look at how the Riley brothers and their friends has made changes in their life’s that’s made it even better for them. They still take care of each other and have made a great little world where their safe. 5 stars Narrator: This narrator is very good an easy to listen to but at times he’s a little loud. Clear pronunciation and read with feelings.

Great books, fantastic value bundle
Any series by E Davies is a treat and this bundle compiles all 6 of the Riley Brothers books. Buzz, book 1 follows Cameron, who unexpectedly has to retire from his hockey career due to a heart condition and starts a new career as a bee keeper, falling in love with the nephew of the new boss. I love this author and Michael Pauley's reputation speaks for itself. I look forward to delving further into this boxset.

Brothers and friends find their love.
I really enjoyed listening to the stories of the Riley brothers and their friends. They are all so different and still the same in that they want to find some one to love. The narration by M. Dean was very well paced and sucked you right into the great stories written by E. Davies. I am looking forward to listening to more books. 4,5 *

6 great novels and 2 novellas
The 2 novellas we get at the end and take place 4 years later is just a tease and hope that we get to keep following up with these guys a little each year. As for the novels, it makes me miss Fredericton. It makes me want to go back and go visit some of the places mentioned in them. I also want to be part of their circle of friends/family

Three brothers, their friends and their lovers
An excellent collection of stories by Ed Davies about three brother who are from a small town in Canada, their friend and how they all find their perfect significant others, making their own extended family. Cam, the Pro Hockey player is the first to come home and finds Noah at the local Farmer's Market, tending his uncle's stall. Injury has brought an early end to Cam's career that was about to take off and he's come home to recover and find a new purpose in life. He also finds a trio of houses when he goes house-hunting and convinces his two brothers to co-buy them with him as a different house appeals to each of them individually. I loved listening to all the stories as Jackson and then Thomas also find their better halves, then their various friends also find their HEAs. Michael Pauley, one of my top favourite narrators, brings the brothers and their friends to life in his usual delightful manner and with the softer Canadian accents I would expect from people living in Ontario and New Brunswick. Highly recommended Contemporary MM Romance with some nice little bonus stories too.

All in one with bonuses
I adore E. Davies’ books. He writes genuine and sweet romances that are sexy at the same time. There is a wonderful simplicity to the books that I love. I know what I’m going to get – low-angst, lots of love, tons of friends and family, and a happy ending. I need my happy endings these days. Each book in this collection builds on the previous to create both character arcs and a series arc. It’s great that the audio finishes with two short stories that take place in the future. If there’s one thing I love, it’s getting to see characters living their happily ever after. I do need to warn you – E. Davies books always begin with a bang. Usually mid sex scene. This can be jarring because you come off a nice sweet ending for the previous book. The narrator gives the title of the new book, and BAM you’re in the middle of hot’n’sweaty stuff. The first time it happened, I wondered if there was something wrong with the audio. There wasn’t. I think if you’re aware of the style, you’ll be fine. Heck, it might jack up your heartrate if you’re someone who really gets into the stories. The series is narrated by Michael Dean (formerly Michael Pauley) and I love his work. Putting together such an extensive collection in one spot highlights both Mr. Davies’ talent as a writer and Mr. Dean’s ability to deliver such great performances. I highly recommend this series.

A great collection of wonderful romances
This is a really enjoyable set of contemporary romance stories. I'm two in and looking forward to getting the next Riley brother story. Buzz focuses on Cameron, a hockey player who's career comes to a halt when health concerns take him off the ice. He moves back home with his two brothers, Jackson and Thomas, and quickly bumps into Noah, art curator in town. Their romance blooms really quickly though both are reticent with recent heartache and work stresses. We get to know them both really well and Ed has written romance that draws you in on an emotional level as you get attached to Cameron and what he's got going on but also are wary of things that are not told to each other. Michael Pauley provides great voices for the characters and draws the emotion out of everything they have going on - stresses of work and health, new love and reconnecting with family. Clang is Jackson's story as he connects with Chase. Jackson is an artist and blacksmith and Chase is a tattoo artist but has also been running from his family for a couple of years, always wary of those around him. Things move quickly in this relationship as Chase needs somewhere to stay and Jackson is more than happy to offer as they grow closer but Jackson is also aware of Chase's history and how it can affect how he acts with those around him. This story is a little harder in a different way to Buzz as Chase's family are extremely religious and he didn't leave on the best of terms but he gets a lot of support from Jackson. Both men's artistic sides come through clearly in Ed's writing with clear joy in what they do. Michael's narration really brings out the strong emotions that both men feel and also the love that the three brothers have for each other. I love how Chase's character developed through the story, especially his views/actions towards camp/flamboyant men and the chance he takes on Jackson.

Great bundle on Riley brothers!
Cam, Jackson and Thomas find love, after hiding from others these three brothers will come out with sweet, sexy and loving mates. Great world building on a town in Canada. Friends also find love in the least likely of places. I enjoyed each and every story. The narrator, Pauley, did a great job with all characters.
