Number One Book in the Entire Amazon Store

Number one Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal best-selling author Ilsa Madden-Mills delivers an all-new emotional and twisty enemies-to-lovers romance that blurs the lines between revenge and love....

River Tate is a god on campus.
The king of football.
A tattooed bad boy with gunmetal eyes that see right through you.
The only chink in his armor is HER, the girl he pretends doesn't exist, the forbidden one with the shy smile and lavender hair.

Anastasia Bailey is a nobody.
The queen of nothing.
An outsider with the face of an angel and a body made for sin.
The only chink in her armor is HIM, her boyfriend's frat brother, the football player who hates her.

But when Anastasia's life comes crashing down, River's the one who sweeps in and saves her.
Torn between loyalty, lies, and secrets, he battles the temptation to take everything from her when they make their revenge pact.

He can't tell her no.
Because revenge (or love) is sweet, and once you get a taste, the craving never ends.
The Revenge Pact is an angsty college sports romance with a beautiful HEA. No cliffhanger. Other interconnected standalone books in this series: The Romantic Pact by Meghan Quinn; The Relationship Pact by Adriana Locke.

Super cute

Love the characters and the narrators are perfect.

I would have loved it not to have been so hurried at the end to wrap up.... But I never like a good book to end

Dream a little dream 🦄🌈

There’s only one person in the world who makes the hair on my nape rise. Him. And by him, I mean that egotistical bad boy who thinks he’s God’s gift. River Tate—AKA Perfect Guy from the night I met Donovan.—River & Anastasia are fated to be together it just takes them a while to get on the same page;)

Life is just one breath away from death. Every single MFing second counts.—I absolutely love this line!! No truer words or advice can be given!!

River is a genuinely great guy. He believes in honesty, family & loyalty. But his loyalty could cost him his fate. Luckily for him Donavan is a dumba$$ and does not believe in the same things that River does. My heart soared for River & Anastasia when they finally admit their feelings for each other❤️

Gah! The epilogue is everything on so many levels! River’s mom’s diagnosis & his NFL team are perfect. His dad was certainly with him:)

“Life is tough, Mr. Tate. You’ll figure it out once college is over.” Oh, man, he went there. “Agreed, life is rarely fair.” I nod as I stick my hands into my pockets. “But the next time you know a kid has issues in your class, maybe try some understanding. I’m not talking about an athlete like me. They might be a regular person, the kind who’s talented in other ways, but if someone asks them to read, their throat closes up. This class was a mountain to me, Dr. Whitman. I climbed it. Fair and square.”
**as a mom of a son with reading comprehension issues this quote is everything!

Pretty Decent Story

I've liked every book of Ilsa Madden-Mills that I've listened to so far, they are an easy listen and they grab you early on. This one was the typical Enemies to Lovers story, the chemistry between Anastasia and River was great throughout the book, I really enjoyed River's portion of the story. Although it is supposed to be a football story there was really little about football other than it was his dream to be drafted. I have read Hockey, Soccer and Baseball stories and they have a bit more of the sport in them than this one did. But all in all a good story.

Very Cute YA listen

This will be an atypical opinion for Ilsa Madden-Mills from me.. I usually throughly enjoy her work, and while this listen was good, it is not her best effort. This story involves two young people who were attracted to each other, but ultimately did not date. A year later, things begin to change in their lives and its a loooonnnngggg path for them to find each other. This story was nice, but it is not one I would listen to again. The unrequited love pushed my patience. The performance was stellar and probably saved the listen. Overall I would not recommend a credit, but wait for a sale or the PLUS catalog.

Great listen from a new to me author

The forbidden storyline is not always my jam, but something about this one did it for me. I loved the respect River showed for the situation. This maturity made him so appealing as the Hero in the story. I really loved the push and pull with the main characters of this story. The build was everything. Great read from a new to me author. The audio was done really well for this story. Both narrators are newer to me, but they will be on the go to list from now on.

Different spin

I loved this story, it was different than what you usually get from a collegiate story. The hero’s issues are really looked at deeper than most. Loved the heroine and her quirks. You won’t be disappointed. The narrators did an amazing job, I listened to this at the faster speed, regular speed was too slow for me.

Enjoyable story.

Great story, characters and funny banters between the hero and heroine. I adore how much River cared about his mom, sister and niece, such a loving, supportive family. Anastasia, parents are different but they love and support her choices. Crazy Carl makes the story funny and June, the way Anastasia cared and looked out for her pulled at my heart strings. One of a kind story, I recommend this one.

💕 Absolutely beautiful! 💕

I’m not one that likes to write books reviews, but once in a while, there’s a book that just gets to me. This book got to me and I felt compelled to tell everyone how beautiful this story is.

I ended up ordering a paperback of this book after listening to it. My three reason (you’ll get this reference once to listen to/read the book are 1. The book was beautiful and heartfelt 2. There are so many great quotes that I want to read again and highlight, and 3. It completely surprised me with how good it was. You wouldn’t think that a romance book would be so impactful, but this one really is. I really enjoyed the love and friendship amongst the characters.

I’m not one of those people that likes to read books that are angsty for the sake of being angsty. Honestly? They give me anxiety and I deal with that enough in my in my life, I don’t need that from my escape. Yes, there was tension and some stress, but not the annoying angst that some authors like to throw in. It was enough to keep you engaged.

I’m not sure what else to say, other than this book is so good! I highly recommend it.

Heroe's moth has cancer. I had to stop reading almost as soon as I started this book because it's stated pretty early on. My mother recently passed away after battling cancer twice (just like the Heroe's mother). I could not continue reading 📚 😢. so this may be a great book, but I'll never know. and I didn't want anyone else who was trying to stay away from this subject matter to have to deal with returning the book to get their credit back after only hearing about 30 minutes of the book 📖.

This couple is Wow

So loved this couple as individuals and together. Iris by Goo Goo Dolls is such a fitting song for them both. Narrators were excellent. Would read again. This story was way to short wanted more.

Loved, loved, loved!

One of my fave stories and the narrators did it justice. They brought Ana and River to life perfectly - the tension, the banter, the angst. Loved everything about this and thoroughly enjoyed the re-read via audio.

Underwhelmed

I really enjoy this author but this was just...blah. It was cute...but blah.

And this has nothing to do with Enemies to lovers how a lot of people sell it as...

The narration had the weirdest pace I've ever listened to with some really strange pauses between sentences.
