The story held us intrigued & we enjoyed it from beginning to end immensely. We will miss reading about the characters.

I pushed through the first three and a half chapters (just under 2 hours total listening time) and had to pull the plug.
Just such a boring story. The author has a penchant for padding up the word count with lists, and the narrator has such a dull tone, I found myself on the one hand growing impatient waiting for the actual story to kick in, and on the other hand trying to stay awake through the monotone timbre of the narration.
My first book by this author and this narrator... I will actively avoid them in future.
