Have listened twice so that it all sinks in. A truly fabulous book written and read by a woman whose intelligence and integrity shine through. It is a masterpiece of thorough research which is supported by evidence. The only Trump I would ever vote for wrote it!

This is the 2nd book I have listed to from the same author. Let's face it America was founded on racial grounds where whites rule and everyone else must bow down and submit. In 2021 sadly this is still the case, especially while many Republicans continue to wield power and influence over their citizens. For generations, White America has held the power and influence in the country. Many in White America are scared that this power and influence will be taken away from them. As the recent census showed White Americans are slowly becoming the minority race and this is one reason for the almost fanatical support for the former defeated President. Hopefully, as the author points out that one day America will finally accept their history and will work together regardless of the colour of their skin to make America a truly united country. I thoroughly recommend this book as a thought-provoking volume.

I am not advocating denying history, far from it, just this history lesson very eloquently told, and after seeing what happened to America over even the past few years I despair, but then I don’t live in the states, wasn’t born there and living in a much freer country I wonder whether it will ever change.
