When Anna Konig first meets Bairn, the Scottish ship carpenter of the Charming Nancy, their encounter is anything but pleasant. She can't ignore the feeling that something sinister is at work - something more than a threat to the tenuous love begun between her and Tobe.

Best Book
This is Suzanne's best book yet! A very engaging and intriguing story. The narrator is still not my favorite because of her clipped-words style, but she does put good emotion into the characters.

Entertaining, Funny, Good Messages, Great Book
This book had me laughing out loud at times. It is more entertaining than most Amish Romances. Perhaps because I recognized myself in Abigail. The author and narrator did a fine job with this one. I am very much looking forward to the next in the series. The Lord always uses these stories to speak exactly what I need to learn at the time. You will be blessed by this one.
