About this listen

Ben, Allie, Paul, and Doug are just high school kids, but in a moment, that life becomes a memory. Evil's desire for the book of magic tore them from their world and brought them to Sam-Ell, a world whose foundation was built on magic. The book of magic disappeared thousands of years ago, but the rogue wizard Yazhu will not stop until he possesses it.

Doug is ripped away by a seemingly indestructible beast. Now they are left with a hard decision. Do they go home and back to their lives and leave Doug? Or do they step into the role destiny had called them to in order to find their friend and face the wizard?

Ben, a slacker, must learn to listen to the hidden knowledge trapped inside himself. Paul, a practical joker, must learn to use his gift of viewing the world outside the box to guide them when they need it most. Allie must become the driving heart that will not allow the team to fail.

To succeed, they are aided by Duluuk, their mentor and portal keeper, and a band of not so bad pirates to navigate the seas to lair of the only who-knows-where to find Doug, the powerful but sarcastic seer.
