Some books just stand out
Loved this book. It was my first one by C R Jane, and wow did it not disappoint. Lincoln is a wild hero, falls hard and fast and determined to get his girl. Munroe has a lot to work through so it could be a recipe for disaster, but thank goodness in the fictional world that C R Jane creates, it just weaves a fabulous story with no need to skip pages and you get to savour the story. Loved it. Loved the whole series in which we get to revisit all the characters from previous books.

Troy Duran…swoon
Female narrator was awful & totally ruined this story for me which was a shame. Troy however was magnificent as always

Went headfirst into crazy territory in the 3rd act
No problems at all with the narration of the book and the story was written well, but overall the ending put me off a fair bit. I don’t know if it was me just reading the description wrong but was not expecting him to go full on psycho. There’s an antihero, and then theirs Lincoln.

Lincoln Daniels....
Lincoln Daniels... what can I say... extremely obsessive, krazyie possessive, high levels of jealousy, caveman 2 another level... he is one of a kind, but hey, gorgeous as hell. He just wanted 2 b Monore's EVERYTHING!!! 🔥🔥🔥🍆🍑🔥🔥🔥 some steamy scenes. Just wished the bonus scene was in the audible as well... I'm still trying 2 read it somehow... great read n amazing narrators

Obsessive
TikTok drew me to this book. It was in my to be read list for a while, but I finally picked it up.
It was a good story… but Lincoln’s antics were over the top.. I mean, there is obsessed and then there is Lincoln Daniels. The tattoo had me in stitches!!
Troy Duran is a dream as always! Alexis Paige is talented, but I felt she was reading instead of performing.

Couldn't stop listening
There is definitely something wrong with me, I admit it... but I LOVED this book. Lincoln is messed up, obsessive, sometimes violent and a complete caveman but it works. Munro and Lincoln just work. His obsessiveness heals her childhood trauma and he's definitely her person.
It may not be right for some people, but I loved it - great story.

Least it was cheap!
Not for me, nope. If Lincoln is your book boyfriend, get help. The performance itself was fine? I mean, if you like a book being read to you by Duke Nukem then have at it. Found it really hard to take it seriously with that voice.

WTF did I just listen to.
The narration was pretty good other than some mispronunciations, the female narrator was particularly good which I don’t often say as female voices can easily grate on me.
Pity that the story was not at all indicated in the blurb or cover or anything else about the book. Some warning that this was about a psycho and a girl with Stockholm syndrome would have been appreciated.
Honestly, I should have given up at multiple points in the first two thirds, but I thought the crazy would be redeemed/explained/balanced. Then we reached the final third and the crazy increased sharply. DNF at 90%. If Lincoln Daniels seems romantic to you … please get therapy.
