the obsessive element was too OTT for me and the way she just fell for it all after being shown to be such a strong independent person after enduring so much, the spice was good

Loved this book. It was my first one by C R Jane, and wow did it not disappoint. Lincoln is a wild hero, falls hard and fast and determined to get his girl. Munroe has a lot to work through so it could be a recipe for disaster, but thank goodness in the fictional world that C R Jane creates, it just weaves a fabulous story with no need to skip pages and you get to savour the story. Loved it. Loved the whole series in which we get to revisit all the characters from previous books.

Great story with a few good twists but the main female narrator overacted in places making her character a bit fake sounding … male narrator was excellent.

I shouldn't have loved this book as much as I did but I was disgustingly hooked.

There is definitely something wrong with me, I admit it... but I LOVED this book. Lincoln is messed up, obsessive, sometimes violent and a complete caveman but it works. Munro and Lincoln just work. His obsessiveness heals her childhood trauma and he's definitely her person.
It may not be right for some people, but I loved it - great story.
