Loved this book. It was my first one by C R Jane, and wow did it not disappoint. Lincoln is a wild hero, falls hard and fast and determined to get his girl. Munroe has a lot to work through so it could be a recipe for disaster, but thank goodness in the fictional world that C R Jane creates, it just weaves a fabulous story with no need to skip pages and you get to savour the story. Loved it. Loved the whole series in which we get to revisit all the characters from previous books.

Great story with a few good twists but the main female narrator overacted in places making her character a bit fake sounding … male narrator was excellent.

There is definitely something wrong with me, I admit it... but I LOVED this book. Lincoln is messed up, obsessive, sometimes violent and a complete caveman but it works. Munro and Lincoln just work. His obsessiveness heals her childhood trauma and he's definitely her person.
It may not be right for some people, but I loved it - great story.

Not for me, nope. If Lincoln is your book boyfriend, get help. The performance itself was fine? I mean, if you like a book being read to you by Duke Nukem then have at it. Found it really hard to take it seriously with that voice.

Okay but I won't be continuing the series and TBH, in hindsight I would have passed over this one in favor of other books on my TBR list.

I liked the male narrator and enjoyed the golden retriever/ crazy mmc mix, and some of interaction with secondary characters. Mixed thoughts about the mfc. I didn't like the female narrator - at times good, but too many times I was put off and distracted by whiny overtones, strange pauses and accenting weird parts of sentences. Definitely prefer to avoid her in future... Overall there just wasn't the quality or depth I hoped for - the story was pretty predictable, his parents were caricatures, there was a lot of tell not show. But it's obviously enjoyable for many other readers so may be worth a go for you.

TikTok drew me to this book. It was in my to be read list for a while, but I finally picked it up.

It was a good story… but Lincoln’s antics were over the top.. I mean, there is obsessed and then there is Lincoln Daniels. The tattoo had me in stitches!!

Troy Duran is a dream as always! Alexis Paige is talented, but I felt she was reading instead of performing.

No problems at all with the narration of the book and the story was written well, but overall the ending put me off a fair bit. I don’t know if it was me just reading the description wrong but was not expecting him to go full on psycho. There’s an antihero, and then theirs Lincoln.

Lincoln Daniels... what can I say... extremely obsessive, krazyie possessive, high levels of jealousy, caveman 2 another level... he is one of a kind, but hey, gorgeous as hell. He just wanted 2 b Monore's EVERYTHING!!! 🔥🔥🔥🍆🍑🔥🔥🔥 some steamy scenes. Just wished the bonus scene was in the audible as well... I'm still trying 2 read it somehow... great read n amazing narrators
