About this listen

He was her first love.

Luna Davidson has been in love with Tony since she was ten years old. As her older brother's best friend, he was always off-limits, but that doesn't mean she didn't try. But years after he turned her down, she's found herself needing his help, whether she wants it or not.

She's his best friend's little sister.

When he learns that Luna has had someone stalking her for months, he's furious that she didn't tell anyone. As a bodyguard at Garden State Security, it's his job to protect people. But can he use this as an excuse to find out what really happened all those years ago?

Can Luna overcome her insecurities to see what's right in front of her? Can Tony figure out who is stalking her before it goes too far?

The Protector is a contemporary brother's best friend romance. It's book two in the Springbrook Hills series, but can be listened to as a standalone. It is a full-length romance with a Happily Ever After intended for mature listeners.

okay this is an improvement on the previous one, definitely less pick me girl vibes. you can tell that ME is still trying to find her feet with writing, the story is a bit messy here and it was trying to be romantic suspense but romantic comedy all at the same time. there was no third act break up and the female friendships were elite here so she won me with that. tony, while his name gave me the ick, he was so protective and funny so i really enjoyed him for the most part. his possessive level was bordering dark romance vibes at times (this comes back to the messiness). i kept going with this book though because i loved luna she was so fun.

it was okay
