So disappointing!!!

We don't need more bible mumbo in this world. I'm just balancing all the other 5 star reviews saying this is the best from the trailer alone.

It's a story

To the critical first post: it's a story. It's not real life. A made up story. It's an enjoyable read.

fantastic story line

I really wish I could respond to another review that had bad comments stating you can't rewrite history. Archeologists and historians continually rewrite history based on new discoveries, manyof which support the facts as written in the Bible. But that is not what is happening here. This is a futuristic dystopian fiction work that expands thought. Beautifully written and performed.

sigh

racism and wokeness. stopped playing not far in and thought why ruin good performances with an error filled storyline which seems ridiculous. Im surprised they didnt throw in electric cars, climate change and drag queens

Woke

Loved the premise. Loved the performance. Then it turned woke. So disappointing. Could have been so much more.

Forced birth from scene 2

It had the ability to be a story and not propaganda, but left the immediately.

A little editorial research would've help a bit

Not super terrible but wow. All kind of bad errors about all kind of things.
If kind of follows like a poorly written religious story but, it's not because if a religious author wrote this, there is not way the religous stuff would be so wrong.

Riveting and Current

Blending the familiar with current is brilliant writing. Superb performances. Couldn't stop listening. Left wanting more.

Really wanted to like this

The production was interesting. It felt very similar to listening to a movie. I do not usually listen to these types of audios so it was a new experience. However, I will honestly say I got lost a little when the story would jump timelines, but I was able to adjust.

The voice acting was good, but the story left much to be desired. The writing is just not what I hoped it would be. It seemed poorly researched. I really wanted to like this because the acting was superb and the premise was interesting, but the story/writing could definitely use some improvement.

Gloriade

I love, love, love it. I've always been kind of a SciFi girl and always a kid (61 yo Sr. now) that has loved God since vacay Bible school at age 8. I feel so blessed listening, like one of the Walton kids sitting with the family around the radio listening to the best stories using my imagination and a Lost fanatic. I will binge this before I sleep tonight (currently 230ish EST.) I can't wait for the next 9. My dream job is Heaven bound❤️
Laurence F. I'm looking forward to the Alchemist, if I win either of the Lotteries I'd gladly be a major contributor. I am in love with Jesus and want others to be also. Game show Accept Jesus or go to h-ll. Lol Whatcha think.

Interesting but a confused story that gets mixed up

I’m not sure how I feel after listening. It’s not bad, the actors are excellent and powerful. The story… that’s the “not sure” bit. It’s a little weak. A play on The Omen. I think the idea is very good, and I get it… but the final message of the story is my confusion . It becomes a political, activists rights type thing. I think the author should have gone for the story as it started out, not add in political rights meets racism overtones.

A Black take on fantasy

A contemporary black Virgin Mary faces supernatural forces trying to prevent the Son of God's birth. In this fantasy the Bible is a prophecy of what will happen, so Jonah and Daniel and Moses are living their stories now. I couldn't stop listening-- great performers made it compelling.
