I really enjoyed this story, nice, short and sweet.

This was a quick read. Narrator's did an amazing job as always. I loved Sebastian and Axel's story, cant wait to read more of the series.

Gay but closeted, professional racing car driver Sebastian plays the sweet “pretty boy”, a claustrophobic role his homophobic agent demands he maintain whenever he’s in public. Sebastian’s nemesis is Axel, who revels in playing the “bad boy” of racing; he’s cocky and he drives recklessly. What Sebastian doesn’t know is that Axel is also closeted and he’s attracted to Sebastian’s golden curls and all-American / boy-next-door good looks. After Axel forces Sebastian into the wall during a race for the umpteenth time, Sebastian just wants to punch him, but Axel proposes a better way to let off steam and, as the years roll by, the two fall into a down-low friends-with-benefits relationship. That is, until Sebastian decides he wants to come out, a path Axel cannot and will not follow.

I absolutely adored this steamy enemies-to-lovers / coming-out / sports romance! While I expected Sebastian to be decent, I wasn’t expecting Axel to be as supportive (behind the scenes) as he was—both guys were actually nice guys. I thought for sure there’d be more angst and drama (especially with Sebastian’s agent) so I was pleasantly surprised when this turned out to have minimal angst. The chemistry between the two men was off the charts, but not in a way that got tedious or boring. All-in-all, I loved this and I’m ready for more! 🎧 Tried and true audio dream team Liam DiCosimo (as Sebastian) and Tim Paige (as Axel) were both excellent, superb choices for each character!
