This book was everything an enemies to lovers should be AND MORE. I mean the MC’s literally fantasised about killing each other every chance they could get.
If you like strong female leads, an angsty slow burn and a silent but deadly, painty dropping male lead with a plot twist that will leave your JAW ON THE FLOOR then this is the book for you!
The narrators were also amazing !!

I really liked the strong female lead, though it got a bit tiresome towards the end. Loved the imagery. Though it seemed like every chapter he was pressing her against a wall again and whispering in her ear again.
I really enjoyed the twists & turns, and RuNyx is very good at writing a suspenseful scene.

Loved the characters! It's so hard today to find a strong female lead that isn't obstinate just cause. Morana Vitalio is just genuine everything she does is true to her character and is strong without forfeiting her understanding. Mean while Tristan Caine is just as interesting as he is hot as hell!!

Love the storyline and the plot has great pacing allowing the romance to bloom without detracting from the sense of intrigue.

This book was so good! I don’t even know how to sell except it’s a great book! If you like dark, if you like suspense, if you like a strong female lead and strong but silent male lead then stop and read/listen to this book now!!!

The storyline wasn’t bad at all. There were some parts that felt too wordy, describing mundane things for no apparent reason other than fluffing up a word count and repeating things in a manner that was a little cliche. But overall that can be forgiven because the story as a whole worked and the main character was refreshing. The narration was great, apart from the short part that was narrated by a man that wasn’t very good at all.
