I’d highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a better understanding of stoic teachings and their historical context. Narration was excellent though a little dry but all up a great read for anyone with a basic knowledge on the topic wishing to expand their understanding.

I found this book very fascinating as it made me realise how many of the ideas purported in modern psychology were being talked about in ancient times via stoic philosophy. Stoicism also has a lot in common with Buddhism.
