Just when I thought I'd figured it out there was a plot twist.

Circling around and around it was a joyous experience to listen to this book

I found the voice used for the main character irritating - did not fit with the supposed plot - the pitch was high, repeated comments over and over and not believable that someone in this supposed situation would react, think or speak that way. Very predictable plot. I was disappointed with the story but pushed through hoping it would improve, which sadly it did not.
