We follow the dual POV of Mira and Scarlet as they navigate the absolute den of vipers that is the revalian court, I really enjoyed that the story was more plot forward and there is a sub-plot of romance peeking through.
I am SO glad I picked this up once the next book was released because I am going straight in, I cant put this story down. The narration was also fantastic!

I met Alina Bellchambers at Comicon Adelaide through my sister and thought I'd give it a go. Admittedly, it took me a couple of chapters to get into it, and understand the characters and the world they live in...but once I did I could not put it down. The pace of the book is perfect, the characters are well placed and Alina's talent for writing is phenomenal. I will be recommending this book to all of my reader friends and cannot wait to sink my teeth into book 2!

This deserves more hype than Fourth Wing!!!
