UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTERS
The small dusty community is a far cry from her polite medical practice on the North Shore of Sydney, but the down-to-earth locals soon welcome her into the fold with their Friday night social gatherings. But no one is more welcoming than enigmatic doctor Konrad Grey, the GP who's working alongside her.

When an employee of their medical practice confesses she's hiding an unexpected pregnancy, Konrad and Riley are thrown together in challenging and wonderful ways.

I really struggled to take the character of DrGrey seriously with such a bogan voice. He often sounded unintelligent & not believable as a doctor.
Good insight into the lack of medical facilities on offer in isolated & regional areas of Australia.

Good story but ordinary narration

Loved it, when I could get passed the narrators voice. Made the lead male lead character sound older than he should be

Love this author and the narrator. They’re two of my favourites and together make a great listen

A good listen

Hooked me in with the attention to detail in setting and giving the support characters depth. Plot built credibility. Very funny moments with the protagonists relationship pull. Perhaps the narration for Conrad a little out, but use your imagination to get over it!
A warm, well written insight into small town life, social issues, and the human condition by a quality author.

Characterful

Good plot and character development - nice holiday escape. The constant descriptions of physique and ‘hotness’ didn’t sit well in the story development - making it a bit Mills and boonish and simplified the story
