I listened to this book while going walks to prepare for my first Camino.
the book has given me so much inspiration about the friendship and the greatness that the Camino brings out in the pilgrims; along with the challenges. Narrated by the author, the book sounds uplifting, joyful, funny and very inspiring

Having walked the Camino 4 times, still aiming at walking a fifth this old fella loved the reason you started but most off all what the Camino gave you, not what you wanted but what you needed. My first walk out of depression left me in hospital in Santiago 24 hours from death, but a love for life and a way out of my dark place. Thanks for your story and like you I found the love of Spain, at 72 I will be back.

I enjoyed it mostly until chapter 19. This good news, bad news went on way too long. Kinda annoyed me and I couldn't wait until the next chapter. Almost stopped listening.
