About this listen

The year is 1982. Nearly three years after 52 Americans were taken hostage at the American Embassy in Tehran, student protestors in Iran once again attack a western embassy – this time the British Embassy, just a week after the assassination of Iran's top nuclear scientist and his Russian counterpart. The Israelis, the British and other western enemies are suspected. Four months later, the Head of Bonn Station for MI6 is murdered along with his family in a West Berlin apartment.

Forty years later, ex-SAS officer Tom Miller, now working in MI7's Black Ops unit, receives a call from an Iranian terrorist group about an impending terror attack. The call changes everything the British Government and its security services thought they knew about Russian and Iranian infiltration, disinformation, cyber warfare and state-sponsored terrorism. It also forces Tom to confront the life-changing events of 1982.

Soon Tom finds himself battling Russia's SVR and Iran's GRU, and those who were responsible for what happened in Tehran and West Berlin in 1982. They will stop at nothing to avenge the actions of the Old Fox.
