Tangible landscape and characters that really grow on you. Moody. Gritty. Rust and cicadas Really need to make mention of Nic’s performance, a brilliant read.

I read this in one sitting while I did my housework and couldn’t/didnt want to stop listening to it at night to watch tv, instead opting to keep pushing through to the end because it was so suspenseful I needed to find out what unfolded.
Highly recommended, Nick English is a fantastic narrator making this even more interesting to listen to.
It helped me that when the book was complete Audible played a sneak preview of the next chapter of Mick and another characters life so I purchased Greg’s next book too!!
I hope I didn’t give away any spoilers! Enjoy 😉
