A grade narrator's and storyline!

This narration was PERFECT! The way these too quietly loved and supported each other. I freaking love Abby books. She somehow picks the most perfect narrators for her characters and they tell the story so beautifully!

I listened to this and loved how the narration was done with the two characters speaking their parts in each others chapters. It does have a serious side, Mike drinks and heavily, he doesn't really want to be a plumber, but all that is not revealed to his girlfriend, Larissa. She has a peanut allergy but he doesn't seem to take any care. Chris on the other hand does and is far more reliable and loveable. Chris and Larissa develop a real friendship and Chris really sees her. Mike on the other hand has big problems and his mother let me say is a real b..ch. I enjoyed the book, I am an Abby Jimenez fan and I can trust she will see Mike through this and out the other side in the next book. He and Chris have a very special friendship until .... Mike really needs help. The right kind.
