A pleasantly wholesome and predictable love story. Intermingled with some slapstick comical moments and way too much cheese than is healthy. It helped to escape the horrors of worldwide politics and catastrophe for a few hours.

What a cutie patootie story!!! Adorable storyline, adorable characters, absolutely love the Cuban family.
Ivan's scene with Boots, forcing his love was my absolute favourite, lots of giggles then.
Predictably sweet story. Definitely worth a read for something sweet, easy to read/listen and nothing too over the top.

Easy listen, a vet, animals, love, big family getting involved, mixed with a little drama. Enjoyed and would recommend.

I’m sorry, this story was just a bit boring and a little unrealistic. I understand this was probably supposed to be a ‘clean’ novel, but it could have at least alluded to some spice. By the end of the book all the MCs had done was sweetly kiss and hold hands and poof! They admit their love for each other! There would have been nothing wrong to say they slept together and just not gone into any details, and I would have believed in their relationship and confessed love for each other. I finished the book but was left disappointed, and I won’t be reading the next one.
