I think this was my favourite from Claire thus far. (I’ve loved them all except one and there are no more left right now!) I was hooked from the beginning to the end. A few characters could have had more background but all round great story

Sometimes stories going between timelines and multiple characters can be tiring and need more concentration. This was a book that did switch a bit but didn’t have that effect on my attention to the detail. First time I’ve heard this authors work. Never read her books before. Will likely check out another one.
