Read or listen to the original Market Wizards book first, which is excellent, followed by this book, for a fascinating and insightful exploration into the thoughts and methods of the best investors in the business. You will learn.

I feel so lucky to have read this and the first Market Wizzards before beginning my trading journey. Conversely, I feel sorry for those already experiencing losses born from ignorance whom have not read them.

This particular edition revealed Eckhardt to me, and during the reading of this book I have parallelled the learning with extensive study of The Turtle Experiment, which has resulted in me finding what is constantly reinforced by so many traders as a important; a proven system that suits my personality, a trading plan, money and risk management and the confidence to enjoy the process, even during downturns. In the first Market Wizzards, Van Tharp awakened the concept of multiplying "R" as opposed to $$$ as the proper management of progress, and it fits perfectly with the Turtle approach.

I found the NLP and hypnosis sections fascinating and am employing the framing concept thoroughly i.e. the Market is not a war or a predatory animal, but is a world-wide ocean, I am the sailor, the trends are the wind and deep liquidity represents the safest place to navigate.

I really could not recommend this series more.
