I love this story! I love the character growth of Brody and the strength of Amelia! Maxine Mitchell is out of this world talented!!! I love her female, child and male voices!! I’ve read this book a few times now… so good!!

i loved this book, its one those stories where you want to know more and keep reading - but saying that, it really was the perfect length to get you hooked, fall in love with the characters and wish it was you haha

I love a single dad/nanny romance.
But my god.
None of what happens in this book would be anything an actual child psychologist recommends.
I needed to know more about what happened to Amelia in her past. And when we did find out, it was brief and surface level.
I wanted more interaction with Lily.
I really needed them to have safe sex.
Amelia is apparently flawless and not in a beauty way, in a the-she-doesn't-seem-to-have-any-character-flaws way.
Brody is too suspicious and unwilling to listen. He's a bulldozer to Amelia's doormat.
This was a mess.
