Would you invite her into your home?

Amanda Fitzroy has everything she ever wanted: a successful husband, a beautiful home, and a precious young son. When the pressure of juggling work and motherhood becomes too much, hiring a nanny feels like the perfect solution. Katelyn is capable, attentive, and adored by Amanda’s little boy. Almost overnight, life becomes easier.

But then things start to go wrong…

At first it’s small changes – appliances are turned off. The coffee is in the wrong place. Her son doesn’t come back from the playground on time. But when her husband starts to act strangely around the nanny, Amanda realises her carefully controlled world is beginning to spin out of control…

Can she regain the household she adores? Or is the danger already inside her home?

A tense psychological thriller about secrets, obsession, manipulation, and how easily a family can be undone, The Nanny is perfect for fans of Freida McFadden, Rona Halsall and Valerie Keogh.

The orator was good, but story wise, I couldn't relate to or like any of the characters.
Its also basis and I predicted 80% of the story.
it's ok for a freebie when you have run out of audible credits.

Very predictable but light

This story was easy to listen to ,not so sophisticated or complicated story a little predictable not so many twists, but still easy to listen to. The performance was good. Characters didn’t have that much depth. I still enjoyed the story.

Enjoyable, lighthearted, easy to listen story

Hard to stop reading, sometimes you could read what's going to happen but sometimes it had you guesting if you are right.

excellent story

First book I’ve listened to that. I didn’t like the story was constantly padded and recapped like the reader possibly had trouble me remembering the last chapter

The constant recapping

Just awful on all fronts. I appreciate this book is someone’s baby but how on earth it got published is beyond me. Every single character was awful, literally no one you could even begin to like. Main character was so wet and weak that she got everything she deserved. Dialogue was like a teenager thinks adults talk, painfully slow and equally as predictable. Incidentally if this is a teenager who wrote it then I take all that back as a good first effort, but lots to learn.
