Audie Awards 2022 Finalist in the Mystery Category

A thrilling new series from the number one best seller Caroline Mitchell.

I remember the day I died quite clearly.

Blackhall Manor has witnessed many dark crimes, long before five teenage girls break in to play the Midnight Game. It was supposed to be a game, but only four girls come home.

Detective Sarah Noble has just returned to the force, and no one knows more about Blackhall Manor than her. Except perhaps Elliott Carter, who is only seven but has seen things in his dreams most adults could never imagine.

It's a case that will bring them together and shake Sarah to her core. Will she be ready to meet the Midnight Man?

A gripping and twisty thriller, perfect for fans of C. J. Tudor, Cara Hunter and Alex Nort.

l am very prejudiced in this review as l am an extremely biased lover of Emma Gregorys' readings.

Very implausible - for me to engage fully there needs to be very real elements of truths and reality - this book had too many implausibilities within it. it was Emma Gregorys' reading that held me in.

I want my money back!

I'm not often left feeling this disappointed in a book, after reading the reviews I thought I was in for a decent thriller but honestly what a bunch of nonsense thrown together and called a story. From the obviously predictable parts to the "twist" that made no logical sense. I'm honestly mad I wasted my time
