Fantasy with a queer twist

This was an incredibly well written book set in an amazingly described universe. Beautiful descriptions and plots, a stand out. I want to read more.

Story

The story its self is really quite good and interesting. However it is majorly let down by the narrator - which is incredibly monotone, and with very little in the way of variation in the rythm of speech.
