The First Book in a New Series Set 73 Years After The Maze Runner

Seventy-three years after the events of THE DEATH CURE, when Thomas and other immunes were sent to an island to survive the Flare-triggered apocalypse, their descendants have thrived. Really hard to get into this one after how well the last book(s) ended, seemingly long winded events that get nowhere in the end and lots of overlap when jumping perspective make listening difficult.
