About this listen

Abandoned and betrayed at an early age, Mia Diminski embarks on a journey to uncover the truth about her past. Raised as a true Texan by her grandparents, Mia has no idea that her father is a brilliant Chinese engineer living in China. When her husband, JR, discovers this secret and uncovers a dangerous conspiracy by the Chinese, he enlists the help of his friend and retired FBI agent, Sean Kruger. As they race against time to stop the infiltration of the US government, they face disbelief and pushback from those in power.

Will their efforts be enough to uncover the true dangers of the Manchurian and save the fabric of our society? Or will they be too late to stop the devastating consequences? Fans of thrilling political conspiracies and heart-pounding suspense will love this book.

I’ve spent the past two weeks immersed in the Sean Kruger series and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The stories are fast-paced and expertly crafted, with thoughtful, well-structured plotlines that keep you engaged throughout. The characters feel authentic and richly developed, making it easy to become invested in their journeys.
It’s genuinely disappointing to reach the end, as I’ll miss both the sharp humor and the compelling cast. Special recognition goes to the narrator, whose outstanding performance brought the series to life and made the listening experience even more enjoyable.
