A CHILD WITH NO FATHER

One victim is a journalist, the other a Cabinet Minister: the double-assassination witnessed by the former's autistic daughter. This girl recalls every detail about her father's killer - except for one.

THE MAN WITH NO FACE

With those around him rocked by the tragedy, Bannerman is compelled to follow his instincts. He is now fighting to expose a murderous conspiracy, protect a helpless child, and unmask a remorseless killer.

All humans have faults, but mostly we struggle against our faults to become more caring people. In the world of politics that process seems to get turned on it’s head, people go in with high ideals and the system relentlessly lures them into corruption. Same applies to the media. Beautifully illustrated in this narrative.

As to be expected, Peter May once more writes an incredible mystery based on a career he obviously knows and understands well. A journalist in Europe, amidst international government, enterprise and crime.
The crime mystery is strong, the international money trail fascinating and the whole of it topped with its sensitive, human perspective, focused on an 11 year old child.
Great book Peter May - as usual, narrated most professionally.
Highly recommended.

Fascinating twists on an international stage
