Publisher's Summary

Grabs you immediately and keeps you guessing right up until the surprise ending!

She thought they had the perfect marriage....

Tamra never dreamed she would marry someone like Mike Mitchell: handsome, rich, a wonderful husband...until she finds out that Mike is having an affair. But Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and Mike Mitchell should have remembered that before he made a fool of her. Because Tamra knows something about Mike. Something he did. Something evil. And she was prepared to carry the secret to her grave.

Not anymore.

To make matters worse, Mike's daughter Madison has come to visit for a few days, and Madison doesn't like Tamra. Well, that's too bad, because Tamra doesn't have time to argue. She's too busy ruining Mike's life while remaining, on the surface at least, the perfect, loyal wife.

But when Tamra's plan spirals out of control, she finds that things are not what they seem.

And now, it's too late.

Ending blew my mind!

What a great book! Finished listening in one day. I thought that I had it all figured out, boy was I wrong. Great job from the author and the narrator. Definitely worth the money. 😀😀😀

Narrator ruined this for me

The story was pretty good and had an unexpected twist at the end. I just could not get past the narrator’s intermittent inability to pronounce the letter R! It dwove me cwazy!

Main Character was Interesting At First

The Loyal Wife was somewhat of a disappointing psychological thriller overall, but I still think it was worth the listen. The voice of the main character was really interesting. She comes across as a ditzy, trashy, yet- 'don't mess with me' type of woman who's naïve to many things but street smart. I thought the narrator really did well- but the problem was, the cool voice and character didn't match the end of the book.

The ending sort of made the whole plot fall apart, and it was boring and non climactic.

Typical story- wife marries rich husband, husband is cheating, wife tries to find out information, etc. There are a couple twists as in the 'I know what you did last summer' theme.. but the end was just.. not good.

The narrator saved this one for me.

It fizzled out at the end

I'm not sure what to say about this book. There were lots of twists and turns and a lot of drama. By the end of the book, I wasn't sure if it was worth it. The plot fell apart at the end. It was as if the author changed the focus of the book from revenge to true love.

It’s not the worst but...

The story is predictable to an extent and when the twist does come at the end, it isn’t satisfying. I felt more annoyed than anything. It makes the behavior of the husband and friend seem REALLY overdone and just unrealistic. I listened all the way through because I don’t like to leave books unfinished but, I will be asking for a refund on this one.

I tried to enjoy this but the narrator is hard to listen to! To slow and whiney!

ugh why

this was terrible. I think the narrator would have been good with a different book. The story would have been better with a different narrator. But putting it all together? just no. I can't even finish. It was all just way too annoying

Listened to it twice.

I really enjoyed the clever writting style and they mystery of this book. The powerful women characters and the revenge is worth a credit.
