Publisher's Summary

Have you heard the rumor around campus about the locker room?

If you haven't, let me enlighten you: Legend has it, if you bring a girl into the sacred aftergame domain of the baseball locker room, it will end with a walk down the aisle. One rowdy and naked encounter against the lockers with the girl of your dreams will make her your wife.

Translation: Baseball players are stupidly superstitious and believe the locker room has magical powers.

But not all baseball players are superstitious, me included.

So, when the girl I've fallen for brushes me off, I start to question if I need to switch my way of thinking. Maybe it's time I finally hand out a coveted invitation to the locker room. The only question is, will she accept?

♡ ♡Laughed a lot, cried a bit too ♡ ♡

I don't think there's any way I could possibly love Meghan Quinn's words more than I do. Everytime she releases a book it's my new favorite. The Locker Room is no different. Emory and Knox have not just one, but two, amazingly hilarious meetings! You just know these two are going to have some chemistry... I mean, there isn't a possible way for them to get out of those two meetings without the chemistry!

Knox is the guy we were all dying to meet in college. You know the one, charismatic, smart, funny, sexy, so darn appealing and likeable that it isn't fair! Of course he has these boyish good looks with a manly sexiness. Emory didn't stand a chance and she gave it a good shot too. The secondary characters were nearly as fabulous as the main characters!! Seriously, can I just move to Quinnville? I love visiting her people and her towns... I should probably just move in! Watch out for the twist though! She totally got me in this book... I didn't see that happening at all!

Bravo, Meghan Quinn!!

Absolutely Loved This

I absolutely adored this the first time I read a copy, and as far fetched as it sounds, I loved listening to it even more! The narrators brought the characters to life for me, and I burst out laughing on numerous occasions. The sexy scenes were fire, and I had to stop listening sometimes just to give myself a moment (especially at work!) to calm down. I highly recommend you check out Meghan Quinn if you haven’t already. She’s one of my favorite contemporary romance writers. P.S. Knox is mine!

Hilarious and sexy with a little bit of drama

College student Emory Ealson has had her walls up since she caught her ex-boyfriend cheating, so baseball player Knox Gentry had to try his hardest to get her to let him in. When she finally does, she finds out that he is expecting to be drafted sooner than she originally thought. Wanting him to focus on following his dreams, Emory breaks up with Knox. They meet again after eight years. Will the locker room work its magic and lead them to Happily Ever After?

I had such a great time listening to this audiobook that I know it won’t be long until I’m listening to it again! This book was hilarious, sexy, with a little bit of -what for me was unnecessary- drama. The characters had great chemistry and their witty banter was fun to listen to.

The narrators did an excellent job. Felicity Monroe has great comedic timing!

The Locker Room is a slow-burn, friends-to-lovers contemporary romance written in dual first person POV. It ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.

I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

❤️❤️❤️

I became addicted to this author and I just can’t stop listening now. I loved this story with its quirky characters and how everything settles for the happily ever after for them.
Love will always have its way no matter what happens.
Unfortunately the narrators weren’t the best voices for me but overall it’s still a great book.

Hilarious, Swoony, Sports Romance!

What a hilarious, swoony, sports romance! I was laughing out loud too many times to count! I loved all the flirty banter and the slow burn sexual tension between Emory and Knox. Emory has transfered to Brentwood as a Junior after losing her identity in a cheating ex boyfriend. She is determined to have a fresh start and be the smart, independent woman she wants to be. The first meet cute between Emory and Knox is so hilarious and the second is just as good. Knox is so charming, sweet, and swoony! He is the captain of the Brentwood baseball team and is working toward his dream of playing in the pros. But this sexy, funny, librarian major has caught his attention, and he works so hard to get her to go on a date. But Emory is stubborn no matter how charmed she is by Knox. Their competitiveness was a challenge neither would back down on. Emory was a great character even tho she really frustrated me at times. I loved Knox and thought he was so swoony in how patient, kind, and romantic he was. I also loved all their friends who added so much fun and humor to this story as well. This story was made completely addictive by Rock Engle, and Felicity Monroe's amazing narration! They were superb as Knox and Emory as they brought the fun and flirty couple to life. I easily felt all the awkward moments, passion, heartbreak, joy, and love these characters felt. I loved both their deliveries as they made this hilarious, heartwarming, sweet and sexy story pure perfection!

A home run!

I laughed so much while listening to Felicity Monroe and Rock Engle bring Emory and Knox's characters to life. Knox and Emory and truly different people but they are so much the same person as well. I mean both like to have fun, college and they like challenges.

Knox is the baseball king who has a fantastic future ahead of him. He's charismatic, funny, the life of everything and he his friends and family are very important to him. The one thing that has him in a class of his own is his sense of self. He knows who he is and what everyone wants but he's only looking for specifics and it looks like Emory and caught his eye.

Emory isn't wild but she does have friends who will only live once and they are out to have the time of their lives while in college. I must also add they are funny...did I mention they are funny???

The banter between Emory and Knox makes this story better. The road to their potential happily ever after has a lot of bumps and one being the potential nail in the coffin. I loved this story and the narrators bringing it to life. As the rest, Meghan has delivered another fantastic story!

Sometimes HEA takes a back seat to life goals

I've been listening to the new audiobook for this book all week.

On one hand, I love the story. Friends to lovers. Slow burn. Sexy, single minded hero. Smart, sassy, guarded heroine.

Knox and Emery meet cute when Em's campus map (because she's a transfer) blows into Knox's face. And so starts their dance. Knox wants more than friendship but he agrees to her wishes. Mind you, she wants more too but she doesn't totally trust anyone with her heart. Knox and Emery become great friends and he gets under her skin. She lets him in. They date and lots of everything but penetration, they can't keep their hands off each other. Not as smooth a path as it may seem though.

Witty, sweet, hot, and with lots of feels. What happens when you want the best for your friend?

Oh, did I mention he's the hottest thing on the school baseball team? Expecting to get drafted to the big leagues? That the team locker room is a legendary location on campus? That if you get a 'golden ticket' to the locker room, you and the guy are destined to be together forever.

It isn't a slam dunk HEA. Which is what makes the story hook me. I like a bit of angst.

I enjoyed the performance by the female narrator but I will admit the male narrator's voice annoyed the heck out of me. His fake Texas accent. Drove me nuts. Also, I really wish they'd do more duet narration because I hate when the men do women's voices. The women don't bother me as much when they do men. But the story kept me in.

I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Great story an amazing sport romance

I love slow burn, I love sport romance, I love Meghan Quinn, so yes a perfect combo for me. This book was amazing. Knox is your next book boyfriend, one you need to meet and swoon over. Knox and Emory meet, in ways you will find funny, unconventional and perfect. It's a sweet story where Knox needs to take down the walls Emory has around her heart. It is a definitely must read for the year. Rock Engle and Felicity Monroe brought their characters to life in an outstanding narration. I laughed so much with the story, but their voices made it ten times better, I suggest you get the audiobook instead of the book, it's that good!

Sadly too much time in between...

DONT GET ME WRONG....I LOVE ALL OF HER BOOKS!
Just this ONE left me broke and not enough to put me back together in the end. The 9 years between the time their relationship stopped and started again left too big a gap in our hearts. I am giving the story a 2 because it was an excellent story line from the start.. The middle left me heartbroken too long & the ending felt too rushed:/

Loved the story but....

Loved the story but not too keen on the male voice, Knox was meant to be in College, I didn’t feel the male and female voice complimented each other. loved the story though.
