About this listen

Losing You is a lost treasure from the author of The Seven Sisters series, Lucinda Riley. Discover this reimagined novel from an author loved by millions of readers worldwide.

When struggling musician Con strikes gold with a rock band in ’60s London, he and his partner Sorcha look set for a rosy future. But as their lives change beyond recognition, they start to wonder if they can ever return to the life of simple happiness that they once enjoyed . . .

Long before she became the bestselling author of The Seven Sisters series, Lucinda Riley wrote Losing You as Lucinda Edmonds. This standalone novel has been reworked and given new life by Harry Whittaker, Lucinda’s son and co-author of Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt.

I listened to this book over 3 days travelling around in my car. I was captivated the whole way an looked forward to each time I got back in my car to drive another few hours.

Jessie Buckley was fantastic and really made the story come to life.

Addictive story with excellent narrative

There was nothing that I disliked. The story was intriguing and the characters come to life very well through the writers, fabulous descriptions

Lucinda is such a great writer that you are kept involved with the story all the way through

Another epic Story but this one left me saddened in so many ways. Mainly because with the loss of Lucinda Riley herself she is no longer able to produce such amazing Stories. I don’t want to give away any of the plot but it resonates well with reality and I often pictured the Band as a 60’s version of U2.
The plot, the twists the characters nothing short of epic. Thank you Harry for keeping up your Mothers work, oh and I absolutely loved your narration in the Olive Tree another great read.

I need more

I loved the whole book. The research was phenomenal and the twists and turns so clever. So typical of pop stars who long to be famous then end up hating it.
