About this listen

Tara, Katherine and Fintan have been best friends since they were teenagers. Now in their early thirties, they've been living it up in London for 10 years. But what have they to show for a decade of hedonism? Sure, Tara's got a boyfriend - but only because she's terrified of spending five minutes alone. Katherine, on the other hand, has a neatness fetish that won't let anyone too close to mess up her life. And Fintan? Well, he has everything. Until he learns that without your health, you've got nothing....

All three are drinking in the last chance saloon and they're about to discover that if you don't change your life, life has a way of changing you....

Average not great but very engaging. Nothing new, no adventure. Average story line. However, the characters were engaging and the narrator was very good.

Nice characterisations, but really nothing new here.

The strong friendships and realistic characters just trying to get things right make this book an absolute delight.

Totally enjoyable

As always Marian keeps you wanting more and more. You fall in love with the characters and wish there was a sequel to every book. Last Chance Saloon was a great read. Narrator was really good, some accents were a bit strange.

Doesn’t disappoint

Loved the story (even if it took a while to get going) but it annoyed me that the chapters didn’t match up. There are nearly 70 actual chapters in this book but only 16 segments of 1 hour audio which makes it hard to use sleep timer for etc. otherwise a great book!

Great but chapters need refining

The big questions in life beautifully untangled through the well crafted writing of Marian Keyes...I was sad when I finished it!

Loved it!

Loved the characters and story. Loved the narration. Love the way Keyes - as always - weaves profound messages and important political statements about women’s choice into a laugh out loud funny and purely delightful story. So many great little passages and phrases which always make my partner and friends laugh when I quote them. Even better than reading the book!

Joy in listening

Got halfway through and couldn’t go further was so boring I’m not even sure what the story was about.

This book was boring
