Not Amira Rain's best work

So I love Amira Rain books but the last 2 books in this series have similarities to previous books she has written. This one is similar to Melted by the Lion I think it was but has differences too. I just can't help and feel a bit disappointed.

I also really can't stand Charlie Boswell as a narrator as he really just had one time of voice.

Not the authors best work though I am still a fan and would try books of hers in the future.I

Story 4 though might be generous
Performance 2

Nearly an Exact Copy of another book she wrote

What disappointed you about The LION Gene?

That I actually paid for this book. It is nearly an exact copy of another book she wrote but she changed the names and occupation and titles of things. Like watching a James Bond move and they change the characters and names of place but it is the same movie.

Has The LION Gene put you off other books in this genre?

No but has put me off the author. It is cheating to do what she did.

What didn’t you like about Charlie Boswell’s performance?

His voice is great and was much better than the female who was performing her books

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The LION Gene?

I would have told the author to go back to the drawing board and actually right a new book

Any additional comments?

I would like a credit for this book. I can't actually believe that audible did not know this was a copy of another book the author wrote. The Wolf Gene is an exact copy of another book of hers as well with slight details changed. I would like a credit on that book as well.
