Publisher's Summary

They say your first kiss should be earned.
Mine was stolen by a devil in a masquerade mask under the black Chicago sky.
They say the vows you take on your wedding day are sacred.
Mine were broken before we left church.
They say your heart only beats for one man.
Mine split and bled for two rivals who fought for it until the bitter end.
I was promised to Angelo Bandini, the heir to one of the most powerful families in the Chicago Outfit.
Then taken by Senator Wolfe Keaton, who held my father’s sins over his head to force me into marriage.

They say that all great love stories have a happy ending.
I, Francesca Rossi, found myself erasing and rewriting mine until the very last chapter.
One kiss.
Two men.
Three lives.
Entwined together.

And somewhere between these two men, I had to find my forever.

Not a fan

Hi
When I read the reviews, I thought it seems worth a read.
But totally disappointed, story was so predictable.
If your a fan of love stories, and don’t mind repetition when discussing how they are physically feeling, then this is the book for you. Narrators were good , story not.

Terrible.

Urrgh. What a load of badly written shite.

Abusive jerk + submissive damsel = total mysoginist claptrap.

Did. Not. Finish. Life is too short for this drivel.

Wow just wow!

I devoured this book. A beautiful story that was both mysterious and sweet. Great characters, and a great story. It made me feel right along with Wolfe and Francesca. I laughed and I cried, I especially loved the banter between the characters. I think listening to this book made the story even better as it made it more real, I loved the narrators chosen.

A refreshing “romance”

If you enjoy romance novels...you should definitely read/listen to this book. To be honest I’ve gotten tired of the monotony of romance novels, maybe I listened to my fair share. I began fast forwarding through most of them, listening to only some of it. This book is what and how they should be written, with a true love story and not so much about every sexual encounter and it drag on and on. I loved this book and it’s love story and I hope that if u read this comment, you trust that it will be what I say and take that chance and read/listen to it! I don’t think you will regret it!

Breathtaking

He is the thief that stolen her kiss, her passion, and her heart. This story kept me on my toes. Love the progression from the way Wolfe looked at Francesca as tool to someone he couldn't live without. Her first love was always there in the background getting in between the relationship and making it hard for Wolfe to trust Francesca. Stephen Dexter and Savannah Peachwood did an excellent job, bringing these two drama filled characters to life.

Wow!

I have read well over 1,000 romance novels and can say that this is actually one of my all time favorites. I usually like the hero and heroine to be a little older (she was 19), but absolutely loved everything else about it!

I want my two hours back

I kept reading this book only because I was hopeful that it would improve. It just continues to get worse. I finally threw in the towel. I am absolutely floored that there are "good" reviews for The Kiss Thief. In this day and age when women are empowered and celebrated for seeking knowledge and individualism, why is ANYONE reading misogynistic porn in a poorly written book with an unrealistic plot? This trashy book is ridiculous and degrading. I want my money back!! 😡😡

Not what I expected and yet exceeded what i wanted

I must First send an applause for these Narrators they gave these charaters truly a voice something that it isn't always acomplished.

I enjoyed this story because the characters where so real, i felt as an intruder on some scenes, while on others I wanted to tell our Hero how wrong he was. So yes I became my grandmother when she would watch her telenovelas (soap opera).

so yes I'd recommend this book but remember our heroine is 19 and was brought up very sheltered; the way she was written made her real.

DELIGHTFULLY DARK, DELICIOUSLY DIFFERENT & SO GOOD

For me, L.J. Shen has written a five star enemies-to-lovers love story and the talented voices of Stephen Dexter and Savannah Peachwood brought the well-written action, the angst, the twists, the passion, the heartache, the sex and the swoon-worthy to life and made it a delicious five star audiobook.

Senator Wolfe Keaton is a cold-hearted, cunning alpha anti-hero.. he's dark, brooding and totally unapologetic for all he puts the naive, virginal, nineteen year old Mafia Princess through when he ruthlessly makes her his bartered bride. And the timid, loving, sweet Francesca Rossi, who had been groomed to become a dutiful Mafia wife, had her eyes and dreams clearly set on her childhood crush.. but all that changes the day her Boss father reluctantly signs her over to Wolfe. However, they have ALL underestimated what Francesca is capable of.. because, when cornered, the lamb will fiercely turns into a lion. There's danger, betrayal, blackmail and bloodshed.. and tempers will flair, promises will be broken, lives will change.. and the unthinkable will happen.

Worth a credit? Yes.. I absolutely loved it. Thank you.. thank you.. thank you Ms. Shen.. I appreciated and ate up all your skilfully planned and executed moves as the dark Villain and his Nemesis verbally sparred with one another and somehow slowly got under each other's skin. I was riveted by your tense scenes as they first harmed and eventually hungered for the other's touch. I marvelled at your endless talents to make me fall hard for such an ass.. by slowly peeling back his damaged tragic layers which revealed his incredibly precious and forgiving heart. I felt the verbal blows, I cringed at the dark angry times, I hoped and prayed while they glimpsed possibilities.. but swore out loud when they were wickedly snuffed out. I sighed.. and swooned.. and even drooled at the delicious things they did together, and got right, along the way. And lastly, I was blown away by the sweet HEA Epilogue.

So many Wow's!!

Just WOW you guys! This is another killer story from L.J. Shen! She is a master!! This is such an amazing story, I freaking love Frankie! She is strong and whitty and even though she was sheltered she knew how to stand her own and I love that in a heroine! And Wolfe… that man infuriated me!!! I wanted to throat punch him in the beginning but he grew on me, I knew he was in there… like really deep down! LOL they are dynamite together and I loved every second! This book is all consuming and I recommend you grab it and see for yourself!!
The narration is fantastic!!! Savannah and Stephen are perfect for these characters!!

All consuming

Loved!! This was an all consuming book that I could not put down. The cover is gorgeous and the story will pull you in from the first page. Once you start you will not be able to put it down. The narrators are perfect and really brought the characters and story to life.

This book was just what I needed to start the New Year. It was fantastic and I loved every minute of it. LJ Shen has a way of brining a unique story to life full of twists and emotions.

Francesca has known since she was little she would have an arranged marriage to someone who help her family. Growing up she has always had a privileged life as the daughter of the mafia. She knows her life is planned for her and is excited to one day become the wife of her childhood crush. She never saw Wolfe Keaton coming into the picture. Wolfe is in politics and is out for revenge. Francesca is the unlucky one he has his sights set on for his plan.

Villian & Nemesis

First of all, the narrattion. WOW Savannah Peachwood and Stephen Dexter were beyond amazing, their performances truly magnificent. The way they express all the characters emotions, the tone and paced of their voices was simply great throughout the entire Audiobook.

I cannot express how much I loved this book, it was perfect from beginning to end, it's raw, emotional, with so much angst that will draw you nuts and won't be able to think of anything else but this story.

It is so amazingly well written, it's the right mix of a perfect historical book, but set into the modern world, that only L.J  Shen knows how to deliver it with so much perfection.

Wolfe Keaton and Francesca Rossi were amazing characters, with their complete different personalities, but they complemented each other so well. Their story wasn't easy, the pad to achieve their HEA full of many connflicts that teared them apart and many knots that tied them together. And you are left with no other choice but to suffer along the way with them, and be drowned in a pool of many emotions while trying to figure everything out.

*Wolfe Keaton was a kiss thief, but it wasn’t only a kiss that he stole. He stole my heart, too.*
