There was so much to this story. The hatred Wolfe had for Francesca and her family was so deep. It coloured everything between the two of them.

Francesca had such hopes for her future with another man and relied heavily on a family tradition that was manipulated by Wolfe.

In the end, there was so much miscommunication and misunderstanding that it tainted the story for me.

This was an enjoyable book, and I look forward to reading more works by LJ Shen.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good audio.

I have enjoyed this book so much, the best enemies to lovers mafia story ever, it has angst, drama, revenge, and redemption. I am a huge fan of both Savannah and Stephen 💞💞

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, it wasn't really a love triangle kind of story. I would actually say it had more of a Beauty and the Beast feel to it.

Frankie could be very annoying through the book but she is only 19 and I think her actions in the book were true to her character and age. So while annoying at times it definitely fit into the story.

It was an enjoyable read.

I can’t imagine why anyone would give this book a bad review. L J Shen is such a beautiful, intelligent writer and this book is just another example of this. Another great read.

What a book. Wow I listened to this on my commute to and from work. I found myself sitting in the parking lot of work and my drive way at home just to listen to a few more minutes
