In May 1945, with victory in Europe established, the war was all but over. But on the other side of the world, the Allies were still engaged in a bitter struggle to control the Pacific. And it was then that the Japanese unleashed a terrible new form of warfare: the suicide pilots, or Kamikaze. A story of courage, The Kamikaze Hunters is a gripping account of how a few brave men helped to ensure peace.©2015 Iredale Communications (P)2015 W.F. Brilliant book about the FAA in WW2 and the lives of its young pilots. Top read.

A Fascinating WW2 Fleet Air Arm Insight.

A long overdue history of the British Pacific Fleet. I found the chapter on the Palembang airstrikes enthralling. Well worth the investment in time to listen to.

Interesting and informative.

This story is very well narrated but not a lot of the story is actually about the Kamikaze problem. Gets a bit boring in places and not true to title if one was expecting a book centred on the events around dealing with the Japanese suicide attacks.

Good narration but low on detail of the overall kamikaze problem.
