A parasite ended the world. This is the only record of what happened.
On April 26th, 2014, the Choragus Parasite was unleashed on humanity. By the time it became active, over seventy percent of the world's population was already infected. No one knew where it came from. No one understood how it spread so fast. All they learned was this: the parasite thrived in hostility—triggered by anger, violence, and aggression.
Within three weeks, over ninety percent of the human race was wiped out. Less than one hundred thousand survived.
Sixty years later, a single journal was discovered on a remote island off the coast of Canada. Its pages reveal the truth of the outbreak, the collapse of civilization, and the desperate fight for survival against an enemy living inside us.
Told through the last written account of those who lived it, this is more than just a story. It is a warning.
Perfect for fans of The Last of Us, World War Z, The Girl With All the Gifts, and parasite-based horror, this chilling apocalyptic novel blends science fiction, survival thriller, and speculative horror into a haunting reminder of how fragile humanity truly is.
